In Piedmont, a very simple nut cake is very famous.

The wonderful thing is, it’s very tasty, very quick and easy to prepare, and healthy too.

With hazelnuts from Wahre Lebenswerte, it tastes especially delicious.
I can only recommend trying it!

If you have good ingredients, less is more. Three ingredients are enough for this recipe.
Anything else like rum or lemon zest is optional.

I’m linking the recipe here. Be careful with the amount of sugar specified. In my opinion, a third of the stated amount is enough. :slight_smile:

This is a great recipe (without fat) and the sugar can certainly be replaced with acacia honey. I will try it out this weekend.

Already, Piedmont hazelnuts Wahre Lebenswerte, just on their own, are crunchy and fragrant. So anything made from them can only be good!

A wonderful customer experience

One of our most loyal customers shared the following story with us today:

During a family holiday at Lake Garda, their supply of Wahre Lebenswerte hazelnuts was slowly running out. At a nearby weekly market, the family eventually discovered a vendor offering hazelnuts from Piedmont – for €22 per kilogram. As the nuts visually resembled the Wahre Lebenswerte hazelnuts and the price seemed appealing, they bought one kilogram to replenish their travel supply.
